Hope everyone has thawed out from Sunday morning, it actually turned out to be a really good morning with the rain holding off (for Auskick at least…), much better than what the forecast was suggesting! Special mention to those parents who came down to help out on the BBQ or running the drills while leaving their kids home, really appreciate it!
There are also a few options for the upcoming holidays, the AFL are running free camps, the closest one is in North Epping, see link below. Also, attached is a flyer for a 3 day camp happening at Gore Hill, being run by Australian Sports Camps. Gets the kids out of the house and running around for a few days which has to be a good thing!https://aflnswact.com.au/aflschoolholidayclinics/ https://lanecovecats.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/NSW-AFL-Programs-Flyers.pdf
The club is also doing a Lamington drive, with 6 delicious lamingtons from Sweet Temptations bakery in Lane Cove West for $12. You can order them through the website here, pick up is on the 19th July at Blackman Park from 9am, they need to be ordered by the 9th July.
Thanks again for being so welcoming to the kids and parents who came along for a trial on Sunday morning, I got a number of comments from them that the club felt really friendly and welcoming, so that’s great feedback to receive. Hopefully some of them will be signing up soon to boost our numbers a bit!
Enjoy the couple of weeks off, we’ll see you back on the 11th July.
