In what can only be seen as a great positive for our club, Team Dangerfield unveiled three new players to the Cats in round one and we welcomed another three today for round two. Even though our boys have barely trained together, they put on a wonderful display of team work and link up footy this morning that you would think they have been playing together for a couple of years.

Sharing of the footy is a major focus for us and it paid dividends today, it was a joy to watch our boys using handball, not just to get out of trouble but as a creative option. Hamish Lovejoy played he?s first game for the year and was a bulldozer through the midfield. Bhavya first game for the Cats was one to remember, very clean hands and courageous attack on the ball. Liam McIntosh is growing in confidence with each game. Jack Mathews and Itay both debuts boys today contributed for four quarters and will just get better from here.

Our two new boys who joined our club from North Ryde – Will McKenny & Damon Wiese have great footy smarts and use the ball extremely well.
Our trio of Charlie?s, Owens – Clifford- Moten have started 2021 in strong form and no matter which zone they play in give their all.
Caleb Heng & Jesse Drinkwater tackled ferociously all day and looked to share the ball with switching.
Win, lose or draw our focus is always on ball movement & sharing the ball by hand and foot. We achieved this today and lm very proud of our boys.
