Over the long weekend AFL Sydney Juniors had one of their biggest weekends of the year – the 2018 Development and Representative Carnival.

The Youth Girls U10’s kicked off the Carnival in the drizzling rain at Cherrybrook. I was part of the North team who made it to the final to play City. We had lost to City in the rounds so we knew we had a challenge ahead of us.

We went out hard attacking the ball and took them by surprise playing a really competitive game. However, they proved too good for us kicking some late goals to win the carnival with my team, North finishing runners up. I also took out one of 2 best and fairest awards from our team coaches.
