Declan Fitzgerald reaches 50 games for the Cats

We saw a significant milestone achieved last weekend, with Declan Fitzgerald playing his 50th game for the Lane Cove Cats.

Declan has been a stalwart of the club, playing in the Under 9 team in the club’s foundation year (2013). He as also regularly gone beyond the call of duty, helping out the older age group team not long after running himself into the ground in the game beforehand.

He has great skills, particularly his kicking which is usually centimetre perfect. In fact, he reminds us of a Geelong Cats great, Ken Hinkley. Lets hope he can develop and achieve as much as Ken did.

We congratulate Declan on this milestone and wish him all the best for the season.
