Since 1992, Lane Cove Council has presented the Lane Cove Citizenship Awards to acknowledge the contributions made by high achievers in the local community.

The 2015 Awards were presented at a special presentation evening on Wednesday 11 May 2016 as part of National Volunteer Week. Councillor Deborah Hutchens, Mayor of Lane Cove, opened the proceedings with Councillors presenting Awards across 12 categories.

However it was with great excitement that we heard Nick Brumley’s name called out for a Citizenship Award in the Sports category.

Nick, our Director of Auskick has been one of the key drivers behind the amazing growth at our club. Not only that, he was also recently awarded the Auskick Coordinator of the Year, for his tireless efforts in providing a safe and fun atmosphere for kids to play AFL football in the community.
