Does your child have a friend who you think might be interested in playing AFL?

We are encouraging our current junior competition players to bring a friend to training, in an effort to allow children who may be interested in playing but haven’t had a chance to try it out.

This is a no obligation offer. Come along and have a kick with our experienced coaches in a friendly environment.

The next session is on 3 March at Burns Bay Reserve oval. The session begins at 5pm and will go to around 6pm.

Why Kids Play AFL?

AFL is for active, strong and healthy kids. We create a fun and competitive atmosphere by running game-based training drills. AFL also helps kids learn skills and builds confidence.

To provide an environment where young players can play the game and sequentially develop their skills through activities, games, match rules and conditions commensurate with their stage of learning and level of ability.

As kids progress they get a good aerobic workout and develop a healthy lifestyle. It also helps develop mate-ships and become good sports. They also learn about teamwork, strategy and game tactics.
