Come and Try Session
We are encouraging our current junior competition players to bring a friend to training this term, in an effort to allow children who may be interested in playing but haven’t had a chance to try it out.
This is a no obligation offer. Come along and have a kick with our experienced coaches in a friendly environment.
Training starts on 3 March at Burns Bay Reserve oval. The session begins at 5pm and will go to around 6pm.
We will conduct our finish off our pre-season training with a series of trial games on Sunday 20 March. This will be held on the grass ovals at Blackman Park (B4) from 9am.
AFL Sydney Juniors 2016 season
Season starts on Sunday 3 April. All home games will be at Blackman Park on Sunday mornings, with several Friday night games also in store.
We will be fielding teams in AFL Sydney Junior Harbour North league, in all ages groups from Under 9 to Under 12.
Eligibility for each age group in 2016 is determined by your age on 31/12/2015. For example, if your children was born on 1 February 2005, they would be playing in Under 11 (i.e. they were still 10 on 31/12/15).

Lane Cove Cats Code of Conduct
We pride ourselves on being a family friendly club. However, this can mean different things to different people. And sometimes the standard of behaviour required by our members may not be clear.
We also pride ourselves on respect. Respecting yourself, your team mates, coaches, umpires, officials and the opposition.
As such, we have developed a code of conduct, which provides all members with a clear guide on the club’s expectations regarding the behaviour of its members.
We recommend all members print out and read the code.
